Funoon Al-Rafidain General Contracting & Trading Co. Ltd. was awarded a contract by the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq for the Construction of the Courthouse in Kuthi, under the Presidency of Babylon Court of Appeal. The project involves the execution of a complete courthouse facility according to the approved technical specifications, bills of quantities, contractual requirements, drawings, and governmental contracting procedures. The scope includes construction works, supply and installation of required materials, health and safety compliance, quality assurance, testing, supervision coordination, project reporting, and final handover. The total contract value is IQD 2,579,972,000, with an implementation period of 20 months / 605 days from the commencement date after official site handover. The contract also includes warranty and maintenance obligations, performance guarantee, delay penalty provisions, and compliance with applicable Iraqi laws and regulations.
